At the start of this project, I absolutely hated what I had made. However, I believe after glazing it it looks much better. I wish I made it neater but I was struggling on just creating the form and got frustrated and so I gave up. I also don't like the sloppy glaze job. However, I do think the colors of the glaze are really pretty and I like the vine and tree.

Final Product
Once again, I got frustrated with this project because it was so hard to shape correctly. I wish I had glazed some parts of it instead of full watercolor because of how dull and messy it looks but I also feel like the scruffy look adds to the dragon. I do like how some of the colors blend together on areas like the horns and around the eyes.
Paper Mache: Rotissere Chicken
In Progress
Final Project
This is by far my favorite project I've made. I had never done paper mache before and was nervous but started making a rotisserie chicken because I thought it would be funny. I love the shape of it and how sturdy it is as well as the color. I made sure to add detail as to where it would be overcooked or burnt and left some spots less dark. However, I do feel as though some parts are slightly uneven or don't look quite right and I wish I could go back and fix them. Overall, I love how this turned out
Non-Objective Sculpture
In Progress
Final
For this sculpture we were told to make nonobjective art, meaning it’s not meant to look like anything and doesn’t necessarily have to have purpose. I honestly didn’t have a plan for this piece and started randomly adding pieces of wood to create the final product. I added color using acrylic paint to make it more fun to look at as well as encapsulate a feeling of dull to colorful.

NCMA Project
I have no idea where my other photos for this went but I attempted to make a sort of vine that was colored like the artwork. It’s fairly obvious I am not a clay person and a lot of the reason my pieces aren’t great is because I procrastinate, but I really do try to make the outcome look slightly decent. I wish I was more into clay but it’s not my favorite media and I much prefer painting and drawing. I still find the information from this class helpful but I feel like I should stick to 2D art from now on.
